In Spell & the Heart, you'll meet heroes and heroines who challenge fate, confront their fears, and discover the true power of love. You'll journey into enchanted forests, brave dangerous quests, and witness the triumph of hope over despair.
Whether you're a fan of fairy tales or mythology, Spell & the Heart will transport you to other worlds and leave you enchanted. So curl up with a warm blanket and let yourself be swept away by the magic of these timeless tales.
The Order by Birdy Browne
A paranoid boy with blue hair chased by a tall man in a robe. This is the scene Cori Lewis witnesses, throwing her simple life into mayhem.
She is just trying to get through her freshman year of college; make it to her classes, get good grades, maybe even find a significant other. But after witnessing one of her classmates being pursued by a mysterious man, she and her friends are kidnapped. Hoping they’re participating in a psychological experiment, they do their best to assimilate into the boarding school-like environment created by their captors. The longer they stay, the less human their captors appear. It's unsettling, but manageable. Until the killing starts.
As the deaths add up, it becomes clear their captors are looking for something among the captives. They’re looking for the Order, thirty-six individuals with special powers. After discovering herself to be one of these individuals, Cori must find and work with the others like her to have any chance of making it out alive.
No Port in a Storm (Legends & Legacies Book 2) by Cal Black
‘The Bayou wants its Butcher back.’
Ghosts of Mildred Berry’s past stalk her dreams, dredging up memories she’d rather forget. Struggling with the return to city life and a surprise marriage, Millie finds her strongest ally is distracted, preparing for the Colfield Massacre trial.
When the trial’s key witness goes missing, a bloody message makes it clear to Millie that the city of Marigot is done waiting for its vengeance against the man who betrayed it… and the elf who burnt it down.
Enemies new and old lurk in the bayou, while all of Millie’s old allies are long dead. If she goes after the witness, she’ll be walking into a city of vipers. If she doesn’t, she’ll lose her closest friend.
The Bayou wants its Butcher back, come hell or high water.

The Dent in the Universe by E W Doc Parris, release date 29th May, available to pre-order on Amazon, Apple, B&N and others.
It turns out "Move fast and break things" is terrible advice when developing a time machine.
To resuscitate his fading celebrity, tech CEO Stephen Lucas would sell his soul for one more hit. When the subspace network for his holographic gaming empire crashes, his hardware guru makes a discovery proving that Einstein was right once again— information can be sent backward in time.
Lucas sees a dream product for procrastinators. Want a pizza now? Send your order back in time 30 minutes. Forgot to make reservations at that chichi french restaurant two weeks ago? No worries. Buy that PowerBall ticket. Invest in that stock. Make a FaceTime call to a loved one that passed away a month ago.
It’s the time machine for the rest of us.
In a culture built on instant gratification, Lucas knows he has a hit that will seem like a dream come true on Wall Street. But when he rushes into beta testing before fully understanding the power he's unleashing, he learns that the stuff dreams are made of can quickly become the stuff of nightmares.
The road to Hell is paved with cool inventions.

Book Review
Bloodflower by K J Harrowick, reviewed by Sifa Elizabeth
A science-fantasy quest with lots of romance, Bloodflower by K. J. Harrowick has a lot of elements for a lot of readers!
When Jàden wakes up centuries in the future on a planet she doesn't know but with enemies hunting for her, she must turn to the strange Jon, to whom she begins to feel attraction. Jàden's unfamiliarity with the world is a great vehicle for explaining it to the reader, taking us through the blend of fantasy elements and science fiction ones in this sprawling world of technology and archaisms. There's also plenty of tension and danger - enemies to escape, mysteries to solve - which keeps you hooked throughout.
